This is the second of two reviews of the new Sweetpatch. This one has been written to coincide with the imminent release of the program to the public. If you haven't yet read the first review, I recommend you do so, as this one leads on from it so you may not understand certain things said in this review.

Sweetpatch Review No. 2 (08/12/00)

All of the great features I talked about in the first review are in the final release version, plus there are more great new features.

Settings:

The settings tab doesn't differ from how I described in the last review. The new and improved add game option is there along with all of the familiar setting from the previous versions of MRA.

Patches:

Again the patches tab is very similar to how I described in the previous review. One little thing that has been improved, which I think makes a big difference, is the change of colour of the text of the "Currently Installed" patch path (that's a mouthfull!!) which is now much more visible than before.

Also, I said in the previous review that the best new feature is the ability of Sweetpatch to import your FIFA 2001 kits into the game using gfxpak. Well now, not only this, but it can also install loads of other graphics for you such as, boots, flags, faces etc. This will save you a lot of hassle!!

Skins:

You still have the ability to use new skins in the program. Your current skins WILL work with Sweetpatch, but now the layout is different you will have to re-design them as parts that were visible in the last program are not in this!!

Patch Previewer:

STILL we (the beta-testers) are yet to have a go with this new tab as it is not finished yet. We are told that it should be included in the next version of Sweetpatch after this one has been released. For the first time ever, you will be able to view all of the different graphics included in patches from inside your MRA!!

The Verdict:

I hope these reviews have tickled your taste buds and you are all now desperate for Sweetpatch to be released. It is a fantastic program that will DEFINITELY maximise your gaming experience - this being Sweetpatch's motto!! Watch out over the weekend, Sweetpatch is on its way!!
